Why I do this work
“Aloha! I’m Annette, a devoted nanny based right here on Oahu with over 30 years of loving childcare experience. With a background as a licensed teacher and a degree in Early Childhood Education, my heart has always belonged to caring for little ones—from gentle newborn feedings and tummy time to introducing basic baby sign language to toddlers. As a seasoned caregiver, I know how important it is for parents to feel completely confident in who is watching their children, especially while away from home.”

My childcare journey spans 35 years across Canada, New York, and Hawaii. In New York, I cared for newborn twins as a dedicated nanny. Over the past 30 years in Hawaii, I have provided warm, reliable babysitting and childcare for families with children of all ages, specializing in newborns through toddlers. In every setting, I bring a calm, patient, and deeply nurturing temperament that helps little ones feel instantly safe and comfortable. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, a teaching license, specialized infant care and nanny training, and current CPR/First Aid certification (valid through 2027), I weave educational elements into gentle daily routines. My hands-on care focuses on feeding, engaging tummy time, early learning, and basic baby sign language. Whether supporting tiny infants or active toddlers, I take joy in providing thoughtful, attentive care tailored to each child's needs.
