Why I do this work
“Hi, I’m Koko! I’m a licensed childcare professional who truly enjoys supporting families and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while they travel. I understand how important it is for parents to feel at ease during their trip, and my goal is to ensure your children feel comfortable, engaged, and happy so the whole family can fully enjoy their time together. Having worked with international families and teams, I adapt easily to new environments and routines while encouraging children’s creativity, confidence, and curiosity. Whether exploring Japan, enjoying hotel time, or settling into daily routines, I provide attentive care that helps make your travel experience smooth and enjoyable.”
Hiroko's background
I have extensive childcare experience across a variety of settings, including international preschools, hotel and event childcare, and family support during domestic and overseas business trips and athletic competitions. I began working in childcare as an assistant at ABC International in Tokyo (2005–2006) and have continued working as a babysitter and temporary nursery school teacher since 2017. Recently, I earned my ABA therapist qualification and now work weekly at a child development support facility, expanding my skills in therapeutic and individualized care. I enjoy planning age- appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, traditional Japanese games like origami and paper balloons, physical play, imaginative games, story time, and interactive hand games that keep children engaged while supporting their development.
