Meet Jennifer
A short hello from Jennifer before you meet.
Why I do this work
“Hello! I’m Jennifer, a teacher, reading advocate, and writer currently working as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Japan. I am passionate about helping children develop a love for learning, especially through storytelling and reading, and I aim to create a calm, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel encouraged and confident. With my background in education and childcare, I am committed to providing attentive and responsible care so parents can enjoy their time with peace of mind while traveling.”
Jennifer's background
I have over seven years of experience as an English teacher in the Philippines, where I later became a school principal before moving to Japan. During my university years, I also worked part-time as a tutor and babysitter for three children, which helped me build early hands-on childcare experience. I grew up caring for my three younger siblings, which naturally strengthened my sense of responsibility and comfort around children. Currently, I also care for three young children aged 0–4, further expanding my experience with infants and toddlers. I bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and a deep sense of responsibility to every childcare role I take on.
