“Hi there! I'm Jolin, a warm and attentive nanny based right here in Taipei. With a B.A. in Psychology and Counseling and three years of professional childcare experience, I deeply understand how to connect with children of all ages, keeping them safe, engaged, and happy. As a certified lifeguard, safety is always my top priority, whether we are exploring local sights or playing indoors. As a Taipei native who speaks native Mandarin, intermediate English and Taiwanese, and basic French, I love helping visiting families feel right at home.”
Jolin's background
Since 2021, I have cared for children ranging from 11-month-old infants to older elementary-aged kids through private nanny bookings, camp settings, and volunteer programs. My background includes working as a private nanny via Bananny, where I routinely cared for single children and sibling groups, including toddlers and primary school children. I have also served as a week-long camp counselor with the Humanistic Education Foundation and provided live-in child supervision during a service-learning trip in Lesotho. My temperament is patient, encouraging, and structured. I always guide children to think independently while keeping safety at the forefront. I am fully experienced in handling complete daily care routines, including formula preparation, feeding, diaper changes, and gentle soothing for infants. For older children, I can assist with school pick-ups, drop-offs, and homework supervision. I love incorporating creativity into our daily routine through shared picture-book reading, early Chinese and English phonics, drawing, crafts, and structured indoor or outdoor activities to keep children happily engaged.
