Why I do this work
“Hello, I am Maureen. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and currently work as a part-time English teacher on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am also a proud mother to my 3-year-old son, whom I have raised on my own, giving me strong hands-on parenting experience and a deep understanding of children’s needs. I genuinely love spending time with children — playing, teaching, and supporting their growth in a safe, caring, and positive environment. My goal is to make children feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for so parents can feel relaxed and confident while I support their family.”
Maureen's background
My childcare experience comes from both professional and personal settings. As a mother, I manage daily routines, meals, playtime, learning activities, and emotional support for my child. In addition, I worked as a babysitter for my nieces and nephews in Malawi for many years, caring for children of different ages. My background in education also allows me to engage children through learning, play, and age-appropriate activities while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
