Experience & qualifications

Mia's background

I’ve been caring for 1-7 year old children for 5 years since I was a senior in college. I graduated from University of Taipei, Department of Psychology and Counseling. I specialized in game therapy, child development, behavior modification and counseling. I can use some of these concepts and skills while playing with kids to help them express their feelings and needs. While caring and accompanying, I follow the kids, I play what they want to play, and I respect their feelings and behaviors. I try to understand and listen carefully instead of punishing or suppressing. Skills: I’m familiar with MRT, buses, trains. I know ways to track them so it’d be easier to expect the time while traveling. I have several apps to call cabs. I have a studio for kids to play games, so I have lots of toys. If the plan is to go somewhere that kids might need other things to do to help them not feel bored, I can bring some toys and picture books with me.
