Why I do this work
“Hi, I’m Ming, though the little ones lovingly call me "Teacher Rabbit"! At 28, with five years of dedicated childcare experience and a background in Special Education, I bring a gentle, patient heart to every family I care for. Having lived in Kaohsiung, Hsinchu, and Taipei, I know Taiwan intimately and love sharing its wonders. Fluent in Mandarin with basic English, I create a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel completely safe and cherished.”
Ming's background
Over the past five years, I have cared for children ranging from kindergarten through elementary school across various settings, including private babysitting, classroom assistance, tutoring, and leading outdoor educational activities. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from National Kaohsiung Normal University and an Elementary School Supplementary Education Teaching Certificate in Mandarin and Math, I love incorporating early learning and academic support into our daily routines. My duties have included providing individualized academic and behavioral support, assisting in elementary classrooms, and organizing engaging activities. In all my childcare roles, I pride myself on maintaining a calm, safe, and nurturing atmosphere where children feel encouraged and secure. Whether we are focusing on tutoring, exploring outdoor spaces, or following daily home routines, my approach is always attentive and developmentally appropriate. I bring a warm, reliable, and thoughtful temperament to every situation, ensuring your children feel happy and supported throughout our time together.
