Why I do this work
“Hi, I’m Noriko! I’m a Japanese nanny who has been living in Tokyo for about 15 years, and I truly enjoy helping families experience Japan in a warm, comfortable, and family-friendly way. I love introducing children to Japanese culture through fun and engaging activities such as origami, traditional paper crafts, and cultural play experiences. My goal is to create a safe, caring, and joyful environment where children feel relaxed and parents can confidently enjoy their travels knowing their little ones are in experienced and loving hands.”

With over 22 years of professional nanny experience, I have worked with families in Seattle, Hawaii, and Tokyo, including 12 years as a live-in nanny for an American family in Tokyo. I have cared for children of all ages—from newborns to teenagers—including twins and triplets, and I am very comfortable supporting different routines, personalities, and family dynamics. I also have extensive experience traveling with families, assisting with daily care, outings, and maintaining familiar routines while away from home, ensuring both children and parents have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
