Meet Rajani
A short hello from Rajani before you meet.
Why I do this work
“Hello! My name is Rajani, but you can call me Anne. I am a 46-year-old nanny originally from the Philippines, now happily settled in Japan with my family. Because of my husband’s work, we have lived in several countries including the Philippines, Thailand, and China before making Japan our permanent home. These international experiences have helped me become highly adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am fluent in English and naturally warm, patient, and flexible with scheduling — including weekends, extended hours, or occasional overnight care when needed. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel secure and cared for.”
Rajani's background
My childcare experience comes from many years of hands-on parenting and caregiving. I raised my three children — now ages 22, 18, and 14 — largely on my own while my husband worked overseas, giving me strong experience caring for children from newborns through teenage years. I studied Health Care and obtained a Red Cross certification in 2010, equipping me with foundational knowledge in child safety and well-being. I can assist with newborn care, daily routines, simple cooking for children, and overall household support related to childcare. Raising my eldest daughter, who was diagnosed with global developmental delay, strengthened my patience, empathy, and attentiveness, especially when supporting children with different developmental needs. While I may not come from a formal nanny background, I bring real-life expertise, proactive caregiving, and deep respect for each family’s parenting style and boundaries.
