Meet Saori
A short hello from Saori before you meet.
Why I do this work
“Hello, my name is Saori! I am an experienced Early Childhood Educator with over 10 years of professional experience in Tokyo and Vancouver, Canada. I am currently based in Tokyo, near Yokohama in Kanagawa. I am truly passionate about witnessing children’s growth and development and working closely with parents to create a nurturing, supportive environment. It would be an honor and a joy to be part of your wonderful trip in Japan and to support your family during your stay.”
Saori's background
I have over 10 years of experience working in early childhood education across Japan and Canada. I worked as a kindergarten teacher in Setagaya, Tokyo for five years, where I supported children’s daily routines, learning activities, and social development. I also gained two years of experience working in daycare centers in Shibuya and Kanagawa, providing structured learning, creative play, and attentive care in group settings. In addition, I spent three years working as an Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver, Canada, where I supported children from diverse cultural backgrounds and collaborated closely with families. Throughout my career, I have incorporated engaging activities such as singing songs, playing the piano, arts and crafts, Japanese calligraphy, and introducing traditional cultural experiences like making matcha.
