“Hi! I’m Akane, a bilingual babysitter based in Tokyo and Yokohama. I love creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and confident being themselves. I am happy to assist with bedtime routines, meals, and light household tasks while engaging children through creative and educational activities such as drawing, reading, crafts, and simple English play. With my professional training and international childcare experience, I aim to support families smoothly and help make your time in Japan enjoyable and stress-free.”
Akaneの経歴
I have a strong professional background in childcare as a licensed childcare provider in Japan and a former preschool director, where I supported children’s development through structured learning, play, and daily care. I also gained valuable international experience working as an au pair in New Zealand for nine months, caring for a 10-year-old boy, and in the United States for two years, where I cared for twin toddlers and school-age twins while assisting with daily routines, travel support, and hotel babysitting. Through these roles, I have developed confidence caring for children from infancy through school age in both home and travel environments.
