“Hi, I'm Raheema. I'm half Japanese and half Ghanaian, and I speak fluent English, Japanese, and Asante Twi. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I'm energetic and enjoy matching children's energy, while also being patient and attentive when they need a calmer approach. I love traveling and have a lot of experience traveling with children. I've accompanied families on holidays and am comfortable caring for children while traveling by airplane, bullet train, regular train, taxi, and other forms of transportation. I also enjoy painting, crafting, reading, cooking, and doing hair. I especially love using creative activities to keep children engaged and can incorporate English learning naturally through play, art, and conversation.”
Raheemaの経歴
I have approximately eight years of childcare experience, including three years in Japan. This includes regular babysitting, hotel babysitting, and traveling with families during their holidays. Through my work, I have cared for children of different ages and with various personalities, and I have become comfortable adapting to each child's individual needs and routines. I have accompanied children on trains, bullet trains, taxis, and airplanes, and I understand the extra attention and preparation needed when traveling with them. I have also worked with families staying in hotels, where I cared for their children while the parents attended events, went sightseeing, or had time to themselves. Before working professionally in Japan, I grew up in Ghana surrounded by my extended family and regularly helped care for my younger cousins and niece. I also volunteered at a daycare in Ghana for two months, where I gained hands-on experience with babies and young children, including feeding, bathing, changing diapers, potty training, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
