我做这份工作的原因
“Hi, I’m Elisa, a bilingual nanny based in Kyoto. Originally from Los Angeles, I moved to Japan 10 years ago and now work as a freelance illustrator, children’s book writer, and nanny. With a creative background and a warm, attentive approach, I love engaging with children and supporting families visiting Kyoto. It’s a privilege to help little travelers feel comfortable, happy, and cared for during their stay.”
Elisa的背景
I have extensive childcare experience caring for children from 3 months old through elementary age, as well as teaching in Japanese schools from pre-K to junior high. I provide attentive infant care, including diaper changes, bottle preparation, sleep routines, and light household support. With toddlers and older children, I organize structured daily routines that balance play, learning, and rest. I enjoy reading stories, baking, supporting homework, encouraging creativity, assisting with potty training, and promoting safe, positive behavior through engaging and age-appropriate activities. My goal is always to create a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn, explore, and feel at ease.
